He was a wonderful person, and a great father. When I was a teenager I grew apart from him, because he was there to discipline me, and I withdrew myself from him. I would not talk to him, etc. as if he weren't there. How ignorant I was. How the special time you have around someone is so special you could never imagine. A couple of years later I became close with him, he was the first person that I confided in when i found out that I was a pregnant teeneger. He did not judge me or get upset with me. He just loved me. I will never forget that. He accepted me as his daughter and would not have it any other way. He was there when my own father wasn't and loved me unconditionally. I will miss Denver, he helped a lot of pople out and cared sooo much for people. I wish that I could have spent more time with him in these last few years. i love you Denver, and I hope you are having a grand time in Heaven. I love you and you will always consider you my father, you are my father, and you will be missed very much! I want to do lot of good on Earth as you did, however I know I will never be able to compete with you.
